What is the cost of a therapy session, and do you accept insurance?

Our session fees vary depending on the therapist and the type of service. We can provide you with detailed pricing information when you reach out to us. We currently are self-pay and will offer you a good faith estimate before services are rendered. 

How do I prepare for a therapy session?

It’s helpful to reflect on what you’d like to discuss during the session. Consider your thoughts, feelings, and any topics you want to explore.

What if I'm not comfortable talking about certain topics?

Therapy is a collaborative process, and you’re in control of what you share. Your therapist will create a safe and non-judgmental environment, allowing you to discuss matters at your own pace.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule an appointment?

We understand that life can be unpredictable. Please notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. We have a cancellation policy in place. Appointments are usually considered a “no-show” if you are 10-15 minutes late. It is best to reschedule sessions more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time. In general, you must let the therapist know 24 hours in advance to avoid a fee.  

How does therapy differ from talking to a friend or family member?

If you’re in crisis or need immediate assistance, please contact a crisis hotline, your local mental health facility, or dial emergency services. Our therapists are not available 24/7 for immediate assistance.

Come to sessions with an open mind, be honest with your therapist, actively participate in discussions, complete any recommended exercises or homework, and communicate your goals and progress.

How often do I need to attend therapy sessions?
